Let’s get started!
Open Cricut Design Space™ and search the Ready-to-Make projects library by choosing ‘Iron-On’ from the first drop down menu and typing ‘pillow in the search bar.
Open the ‘White & Gold Snowflake Pillow’ project. If you want to alter the project, select ‘Customise’, then use the tools in the Edit panel to make changes before you cut. If not, click ‘Make’ to send your project to the Maker to cut.
Alternatively, in a blank canvas within Design Space, insert image #M353C5 (Snowflake) and resize to 11.5” wide (28cm). Hide the solid background in the layers panel and then duplicate the snowflake design.
On the first image, hit ‘contour’ and remove the outer layer of the snowflake image to invert the design. On the second image, repeat this contour step, and then also contour away the snowflake design and swirls using the image here as a guide. Recolour the original snowflake image white and the new contoured image gold.
Be sure to mirror the image when using iron-on and place the shiny side (clear liner) onto the mat.
Cut the white and gold iron on materials in separate passes through the Cricut machine.
Remove the negative pieces of Iron-On using a weeder tool so just your design remains on the clear liner.
Using a Cricut EasyPress and EasyPress mat apply the iron-on layers to your cushion cover, adding the white first and the glitter on top.
