Over the next few days we have four wonderful new craft suppliers joining us. We’re delighted to welcome them to the Hochanda Family, so before their shows here’s a little bit all about them. Read on and then tune in at show time!
Tina Francis Tapestry – Thursday 16 April 1pm
After winning a box of embroidery transfers in an auction, and getting hooked by the world of needlecraft, Tina Francis Tapestry was born! Tina is now regular exhibitor at large knitting and stitching shows selling her designs around the UK. Don’t miss this show as it’ll be a chance to see some unique tapestry sets and kits that utilise Bargello, a type of needlepoint involving upright flat stitches that form patterns and motifs.
Expect bright colours and contemporary designs to give you lots of inspiration for tapestry craft use in small projects like bangle making to larger ones like wall hanging murals.
Wee Woolly Wonderfuls – Friday 17 April 3pm
Tune in for an hour of crochet with Wee Woolly Wonderfuls as they showcase their adorable kits! Whether you’re already familiar with crochet, or a complete beginner, these kits are bags of fun! Each kits comes beautifully packaged in a reusable 100% cotton project bag. Each one contains all you need to create a unique looking giraffe. Perfect to keep or to give to someone special as gift.
Pappnoptikum – Sunday 19th April 3pm
Advent calendars, card sets, paper dolls, scrapbooking accessories and more! Pappnoptikum are a paper and art publisher from Leipzig and will be sharing their passion for papercraft with us on Sunday 19th April at 3pm. The company grew in scope during 2019 following the success of their independent book publishing business, but keep an eye out on the show to see if ‘The Steampletons’ – a family of papercraft dolls inspired by the steam punk movement make an appearance! Each come with their own distinctive personality and range of clothes and triptych accessories.
Emporia Dress Making – Monday 20th April 2pm
From Emporia Fabric & Crafts comes their minimalist style of dress making. Inspired by a love of Japanese and Scandinavian design. Clair Heal will be joining us to demonstrate some of the stages of four different patterns from the Emporia collection – from the Kobi and Cassie dresses to the Alice trousers and Iris top. In addition to each dress using fabulous fabrics and dress making patterns, you’ll find something suitable for a super simple beginner’s design to more complex patterns. All of which will make an ideal addition to your wardrobe.
