Tools you’ll need to make your family blanket with Cricut :
Cricut Joy™, Explore Air™ 2 or Cricut Maker™
Cricut Everyday Iron-On Material
Throw Blanket
Time to get started:
Open Cricut Design Space™ and search Ready-to-Make projects for ‘family blanket’ then open the file. To personalise the text, click ‘customise’ then use the text tool to enter your family name using the Belwe Std Medium font. Use the attach option to preserve the arrangement of text before cutting.
Cut:
Be sure to mirror the image when using iron-on and place the shiny side (clear liner) onto the mat. Follow the prompts in Cricut Design Space to cut the images from the iron-on material.
Assemble:
Use a Weeder Tool to remove the negative pieces of iron-on using so just your design remains on the clear liner. Lay your blanket on top of your Cricut EasyPress Mat, place your design and then apply using your Cricut EasyPress™. To get the perfect time and temperature settings, check out Cricut’s Heat Guide
