Hello everyone. Today I’m sharing with you a card I have made using Crafter’s Companion.
I am a huge fan of Crafter’s Companion and have been using their products since they first launched. I can still remember the first time I saw Sara on TV. My first Crafter’s Companion purchase was the Ultimate Pro which I have had since they launched… it must be at least 10 years old!
I love die cutting and have to say that their dies are some of the best. They’re always beautifully intricate. However, my ultimate Crafter’s Companion product is my Gemini…I seriously could not craft without it! This is the third die cutting machine I have bought and it has never let me down. It was my saving grace last year when I was making my best friend’s wedding invites and developed a frozen shoulder. I don’t know how I would have managed without it.
For this project I have mixed 3 different collections; Sara’s signature shabby chic (my all-time favourite), Sara’s signature Scandinavian Christmas and Sara’s signature together forever collection.
Here are the products I’ve used:
  • Script stamp- Scandinavian Christmas
  • Patterned paper-Shabby chic 12x 12 paper pad
  • Doily die- Shabby chic range
  • Distressed trellis embossing folder- Shabby chic range
  • Butterfly dies- Shabby chic range
  • Forever in my heart die- Together forever range
  • Celebrate die- Together forever range
  • Gold embossing powder
  • Twine
  • Kraft card- Crafters Companion
  • Sanding block
  • Distress ink
  • DL card blank
  • Cork
  • Patterned card
  • Paper flowers and berries from my stash
Here’s what I did:
Firstly, I randomly stamped and embossed the script stamp over the base of the card. I did not use an acrylic block, I just held the stamp in my hand to get an uneven finish.

Next, I embossed a rectangle of patterned paper using the trellis embossing folder and then sanded it back. After this, I distressed the edges with scissors and applied distress ink to the edges. I tied a piece of twine along the bottom and fixed the panel to the card front.

I then cut the doily from craft card. Again, I sanded it back and then scrunched it up in my hands. Using foam pads, I attached it in the upper right corner. Next using the outside edge of the heart die, I cut a piece of cork. I then used the outside edge with the detailed inner to cut a piece of patterned card and layered the 2 together. I attached this below the doily.

Then I attached flowers and berries using hot glue and cut the celebrate die from gold mirri card which I fixed across the centre of the doily. 2 butterflies were cut from patterned paper and attached as shown.

I hope you like this card. It could be used for a number of different occasions. Also, I hope this shows how well the different ranges from Crafter’s Companion work well together.
Thanks for popping by.
