Hi everyone. Welcome to my first blog spot of 2019. What a rollercoaster of a year it’s been. I cannot believe I’ve been a Hochanda Blog Ambassador for a year on the 9th February. It’s come around very quickly and has been an absolute pleasure.
I thought I’d share some of my makes recently which I’ve made using things I’ve purchased from charity shops to make something different. I’m a firm believer that once you have good products you don’t have to spend the earth to produce really nice bits and pieces to decorate your home or give as gifts.
My best finds so far have been this jewellery stand which I picked up at our local hospice shop for £1.25.
I had been sent the new rose kit launching today on Hochanda by Dawn Bibby and it sung out to me that it needed to be decorated. I’d seen something done with real flowers at The Chelsea Flower Show which was my inspiration for this.
The green frame was another bargain at £1.00 from another charity shop, a lick of paint and it looks marvellous. Whenever I go into town to the post office to post samples off to Hochanda I always have a nosey around. It’s so satisfying to turn something tossed out by others and make it into something beautiful. You can see these items live on air 6pm, 8pm today and then 9am, 1pm and final call at 5pm. Hurry soon to get yours as these gorgeous roses won’t be around long.
They are easy to make up, catch Dawn’s fabulous demo’s on Hochanda.
