Step 2: Cut a 5” square and stamp snowflakes around the edges. Next cut out a square of blue which will become the mat for this piece.
Step 3: From this square also cut a square to layer the topper onto and a circle frame with 2 circle dies. This saves an awful lot of card (See Photo).
Step 4: Use the embossed card to help you position your ‘Bella’ stamp, use Memento ink for this.
Step 5: Take a 7 1/2” square of stamping card, stamp the lights across the top and the sentiment at the bottom. Use the toppers to help you position the stamps.
Step 6: Using Summer Sky, stamp snowflakes over your card.
Step 7: Then repeat step 6 with the cornflower blue to add depth to the piece.
Step 8: Use a black fine liner to elongate the sentiment to either edge of the card.
Step 9: Colour your pieces with a selection of Copics or other alcohol markers.
Step 10: Blend Blueprint Sketch lightly around each of the cards. Layer the background onto blue, then secure to the card base.
Step 11: Mount both your topper pieces onto the blue card. Next, use foam pads to secure one to the other.
Step 12: To finish your card, use foam pads to secure the topper to your card.
