Materials You Will Need
Indigoblu A6 stamp sets – Sunflower Mandala and Chrysanthemum Paisley
Indigoblu Collector’s Edition No.47 Paisley and No.38 Grungy Little Circles
Indigoblu Translucent Paints – Daffodil, 22 Carrot Gold, Mulberry Bush
Indigoblu Luscious – Bottled Sunshine, Rosy Glow (or alternative colours)
Indigoblu Clear Superfine Embossing Glaze
Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink Pad
Watercolour Card, Yellow & Pink Card
Step 1:
Cut 3 pieces of watercolour card into 90mm by 65mm.
Place some Daffodil Translucent Paint on your paint mat and add this to your 3 pieces of watercolour card using a Brayer.
Step 2:
Repeat with 22 Carrot Gold and Mulberry Bush. Drying in between layers. As the paints are Translucent you can see the layers building up.
Step 3:
Brayer some Mulberry Bush onto your paint mat. Using the Collectors Edition No.47 Paisley place this into the paint and stamp onto the 3 watercolour card pieces.
Step 4:
Water down some White Gesso onto your paint mat and brush over the pieces to knock back the colour. This will lighten the pieces so the stamped images will stand out.
Step 5:
Take the Bubble stencil and add more detail to your pieces using Daffodil Translucent paint.
Step 6:
Use low tack tape on the back to keep your pieces together whilst stamping. Versafine Clair Nocturne was used to stamp the Sunflower Mandala over the 3 pieces and also in the top and bottom corners.
Step 7:
Whilst the Ink was still wet sprinkle on the Clear Superfine Embossing Glaze and heat emboss.
Step 8:
Stamp the Collectors Edition No.38 Grungy Little Circles with the Mulberry Bush Translucent Paint randomly over the 3 pieces.
Step 9:
Use Luscious Bottled Sunshine and Rosy Glow to paint some areas of the Mandala. Also highlight some of the stencilled areas with Bottled Sunshine. Stamp the word Beautiful with Versafine Clair Nocturne as shown.
Step 10:
Finish the card by matt and layering the 3 pieces onto yellow card measuring 95mm by 205mm. Adhere this to a Pink card blank measuring 100mm by 210mm.
