Hello everyone, it’s Leanne again here and it’s time again to confess my crafty sins!
Well since I last confessed boy oh boy have I sinned…big time…I have well and truly been a naughty girl! I won’t confess all in case my husband reads this…
Has anyone else had a naughty month? There have been so many lovely shows on Hochanda and too much temptation.
It all started with the Stamperia One Day Special that Dali brought, well it was just too beautiful to resist, however it’s that beautiful I can’t bring myself to use the papers and find myself staring at them imagining what I could create with them. I have used the stamps however and they are really lovely.
Then there’s Craft Price Drop…this is fatal…in fact it needs to come with a bank account warning.
So I’ve bought several items from here since we last spoke. What I love about it is that you can casually order from your phone without your other half knowing what you’ve done…that is until your name and location scrolls across the bottom of the screen.
One day I had a lucky escape, I casually ordered early one morning, then before I knew it Janice read my name out…luckily my husband had just taken the dog for a walk…phew!
I have now developed a new approach when my parcels are delivered by acting surprised as if I have no idea what could possibly be in the parcel as if I haven’t ordered anything. I am now considering cutting the plug from the TV to prevent anymore temptation!
Joking aside though, I love watching Craft Price Drop there have been some amazing bargains to be had on here.
Who else bought the Tonic gift bags?…oh my word…these are seriously addictive. You will now find yourself only buying gifts that you know will fit in these bags because you can’t stop making them. Tonic really do know how to make amazing dies for 3D projects. I knew they were coming on Hochanda when I was at work and had a feeling they would be really popular, so I set myself an alarm on my phone for the show starting so I could place my order, however forgot I had set it until it went off in a meeting…oops. I had to wait until I got to my car to place the order in the car park…the things you have to do!
I was offered the chance to attend the NEC for the craft show but sadly couldn’t go as I was taking my daughter to London to attend the Move it dance convention, I think now on reflection this may have been a blessing , however can’t contain my excitement that there is a Create It event coming to Gateshead stadium in September and to make it even better, the event is taking place on my birthday…I will definitely be there!
I have tried Heartfelt Creations for the first time this month and I’m impatiently waiting for my Graphic 45 complete bundle to arrive. I have no idea where I’m going to stash it when it arrives as I have now filled another cupboard with ‘stuff’. I have made a promise to myself that I will use this and I’m going to try to not buy anymore craft products for a month…you’ll have to come back next month to find out if I manage to stick to it.
