Hello again everyone and welcome to my last confessional for 2018. Can you believe Christmas is just around the corner? It seems like it has just crept up on me and I am totally unprepared. I am ashamed to say I have barely made any Christmas cards this year and as much as it is going to kill me, I’m going to have to buy some as time is not on my side!
I have been a bit quiet lately as we have had a new kitchen fitted which is where I do my crafting. I was relegated to the bedroom but as the light in there is so poor this limited the times I could craft. I’m now back up and running thankfully and looking forward to getting creative again.
I am so looking forward to seeing what new products Hochanda are going to bring us next year.
2018 has been a great year and there have been so many amazing products. Tonic have excelled themselves this year with the beautiful dies they have brought. The constructions dies are my favourite as I love making 3D items.
I have just recently treated myself to the new Crafters companion foil press and I am well impressed. I’m hoping to use this for my wedding stationery that I sell as foiling is really popular for stationery.
The Graphic 45 collections have been amazing, and I think I have managed to use 2 whole sheets of paper this year which is progress!
What have been your favourite items of 2018?
I have found a new love for stamping thanks to the lovely products I have been lucky to receive from Hochanda. Stamping is something I’ve only really done before to add a sentiment. I’m not very good at it and I’m useless at getting things straight. So, for 2019 I’m going to treat myself to a stamp platform…hopefully I’ll get one in the Christmas sales.
I’ve also decided that next year I’m going to start cross stitching again. This is where it all started for me and this is something I can do while watching TV…. instead of eating!
What new crafts are you going to try next year? Are you challenging yourself next year?
I always think it’s a good idea to try something new. I’m hoping I might get to some workshops as well next year, although this can be difficult with work.
Whatever you are planning for next year I hope it is successful and most of all fun!
I would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a very happy, healthy and crafty 2019!
Until next year…
Thanks for popping by
