An Enchanting Sara Signature Collection by Nick Roberts

Hi Friends and Crafters, have I got a treat for you this morning? I have an exclusive sneak peek for you at the brand new Signature Collection by Sara. It’s called the Enchanted Forest and it certainly is enchanting. The colours are sublime along with the beautiful paper pads. They are sure going to give you all you need to make some spectacular cards.
Every time I share a new collection, I always say it’s the best ever. When this one arrived, I hardly had the box open and I was brimming with ideas. As always, everything coordinates so beautifully. There’s a wonderful selection of dies, embossing folders and STENCILS too. On top of that, and one of my favourites, is the Foil Transfers and coordinating foils in 4 colours especially designed to match every element of the collection. The pads are simply beautiful, the designs are super, coming in both 6 x 6 & 8 x 8, just perfect.
You will need:
  • Enchanted Forest ‘Fairyland’ Die
  • Enchanted Forest ‘Fairy Wishes’ Die and Stamp Set
  • Enchanted Forest 6 x 6 ‘Flowers & Vines’ Stencil
  • Enchanted Forest 6 x 6 Paper Pad
  • Enchanted Forest 8 x 8 Paper Pad
  • Enchanted Forest A4 Luxury Matt Mirror Card ‘Pink Fizz’
  • Distress Ink ‘Seedless Preserves’
  • Matt Black Cardstock
  • Centura Pearl White/Silver
  • Foam Pads
  • Tacky Glue
Step 1: Cut the main die from black and white card. Layer these together using the black on top to create a drop shadow effect. Using the white underneath, gives the illusion of the evening moonlight.

1

Step 2: Mount the die cuts onto a sheet of 6 x 6 from the paper pad, positioning it to look like the sunset behind. Then layer, leaving a narrow border, onto Centura Pearl, Pink Fizz and finally Black.

2

Step 3: Take a coordinating sheet from the 8 x 8 pad and cut 1/2” from the bottom and the right hand side of the paper. Position the stencil in the top left hand corner and ink through with the Seedless Preserves. Using a blending tool, gently shade around the edges to draw the eye into the centre of your card.

3

Step 4: Mount the paper onto Pink Fizz, then black before adding to your base card. ***Dont forget to gut all of the covered layers, using a basic square die and use for a separate project. Lay your topper in place to help position your stamped sentiment, use Versafine black ink for this.

4

Step 5: To finish your card, add foam pads or tape to the back of your topper and position on your card.

Finished card

This superb collection launches on the 19th October at 10am. Please don’t miss this one as I have a feeling this collection is going to go faster than ever before.
Thank you so much for joining me today. I really hope you have enjoyed the tutorial along with the finished card. I do hope you will join me again very soon. For now Take care and Happy Crafting.xxx
