Spring has Sprung, Clarity ‘Treescape’ by Nick Roberts

Morning friends and crafters, great to be here with you again today. The lovely Maria will be on our screens tomorrow at 12 pm & again at 4 pm with a Treescape stamp and stencil duet. I hope you will tune in for some great demonstrations and lots of inspiration.

You will need:
  • Clarity ‘Treescape’ Stamp
  • Clarity ‘Spring’ Stamp
  • Clarity ‘Wildflower’ Stamp
  • Versafine Black Ink
  • Versafine Grey Ink
  • Distress Oxide Squeezed Lemonade
  • Distress Oxide Cracked Pistachio
  • Archival Black Ink
  • Distress Ink Mowed Lawn
  • Distress Ink Salty Ocean
  • Stamping Card
  • Black Card
  • White Base Card
  • Tacky Glue
Step 1: Stamp the ‘Treescape’ stamp and the ‘Spring’ using the black Archival Ink Pad.

Step 2: Cover the panel with a mask made from copier paper.

Step 3:  Use the two colours of Versafine inks to stamp the ‘Wildflowers’ around the bottom and sides of the card.

Step 4: Cover the outside of the image with another mask to protect the outside.

Step 5: Add the sun mask and blend the sky with Salty Ocean Distress Ink. Then use torn copier paper and the mowed lawn Distress ink to add some landscape.

Step 6: Remove all the masks and replace the centre mask. Overstamp the wildflowers with more, this time using the Distress Oxides, Squeezed Lemonade and Cracked Pistachio.

Step 7: Cut a black layer and a white card base.

Step 8: To finish your card mat and layer as shown in the photo, using Tacky glue.
