Hi Friends and Crafters. Today is your last chance to get your hands on this beautiful Signature Collection ‘A Winters Tale’ by Sara. It’s been such a wonderful few days, full of demonstrations and all of the inspirational samples from the Design Team. You will have plenty of great ideas by the time your collection arrives, so I do hope you have a lot of fun.

You will need:
  • ‘Home for Christmas’ Die, Stamp and Embossing Folder Set
  • ‘Words of The Season Die and Stamp Set
  • Gemini Accessories Pack
  • Centura Pearl Blue Card (Darks Collection)
  • Light and Dark Green Card
  • Centura Pearl Ivory Card Base
  • Crafters Companion Cream Card
  • Red Card
  • Fine Red Ribbon
  • Small Piece of Acetate
  • Versafine Black Ink Pad
  • Alcohol Markers
  • Pumice Stone Distress Ink Pad
  • Memento Black Ink Pad
 
Step 1: Cut the opening door from the Blue Centura Pearl.

Step 2: Take a piece of Cream Card, slightly smaller that the outside frame of the door and using Memento Ink, stamp the inside design. Just look at the stunning detail you get from this marvelous stamp.

Step 3: Colour your image with alcohol markers.

Step 4: Use tacky glue to secure the door to your background (frame only). Secure the small piece of acetate to the back of the glazed part of the door.

Step 5 : Using a 5 x 7 piece of white card, emboss the detail of the wall, then colour with the Pumice Stone Distress Ink.

Step 6: Secure a matching blue layer to your base card, then add the embossed card on top of this using tacky glue.

Step 7: Cut a small strip of blue card approximately 3/4” to act as a doorstep. Secure this to the embossed card and then add the door above.

Step 8: From the accessories pack, cut a wreath and some poinsettias. Layer these up with tacky glue.

Step 9: Cut the word ‘Christmas’ from the same red card, then the tag from the cream card. Use Versafine black ink to stamp ‘Have A Happy’ and distress the edges with Pumice Stone Distress Ink. Secure these to the door as shown.

Step 10: Here is the finished card with the door open showing the lovely Christmas scene inside. What a lovely card to send to someone this year. Once again, this could easily be used for batch card making.
