Hi Everyone, It’s that time again where I share with you my new blog post. I hope you are all keeping okay and have been enjoying this beautiful weather! I know I certainly have been making the most of it, long relaxing days in the garden, crafting at the same time of course!

On this times blog I decided to share with you a card I have made using Dawn Bibby’s brand new woodland dies, the owl dies and the branch/leaf dies, they are super cute the owls and can be used in all manner of ways.

For this particular card you will need:

  • Dawn Bibby Woodland Owl Die Set
  • Dawn Bibby Woodland branches and Leaves Die Set
  • Dawn Bibby Fantasy Fusilier Clear Stamp Set
  • Perfect medium
  • Enchanted Gold Papermania Embossing powder
  • Heat gun
  • Dawn Bibby Sentiment Stamps
  • Craft Buddy handmade Christmas Papers
  • Dawn Bibby Kraft card
  • Dawn Bibby black card
  • Gold mirri card
  • Green mirri card
  • Dawn Bibby quick stick glue
  • Pinflair glue gel
  • Craft Buddy Gems
  • Vintage photo distress ink
  • Dawn Bibby black & terracotta moonshine pens

  1. I folded an A4 sheet of Kraft card in half to make my card base
  2. I stamped with perfect medium “fern” all over the card and heat embossedPerfect Medium Ink and Embossing Powder Gold mirri card

  3. I then matte and layered black card, gold mirri and then a square of the handmade Christmas paper. I also layered the same to fit the “Best Wishes” stamp on, I also heat embossed thisCraft Buddy handmade Christmas Papers
  4. I die cut the branches out of kraft card and aged them using the vintage photo distress ink. I die cut the leaves out of green mirri, I placed them on the card using pinflair glue gelDawn Bibby Woodland branches and Leaves Die Set
  5. I die cut the large owl outline in gold mirri and then die cut the same large owl using both dies in the kraft card. I also die cut the small owl in kraft card. I aged them using the vintage photo distress ink. I glued the two large owls together. I coloured gems with the black moonshine pen and glued them to the owls as eyes. I also used 2mm gems coloured with the terracotta moonshine pen to add dimension to the owls bodyDawn Bibby Woodland Owl Die Set
  6. I added extra gems to each corner of the card and also to certain parts of the “best wishes” sentimentDawn Bibby Fantasy Fusilier Clear Stamp Set
  7. I hope you like the finished card, would love to know what you think!
