Flower Embellishment Birthday Card by Tracy Sutton

Hi, welcome to my first project for the Hochanda blog.  I hope you like my card.  It is made with Dawn Bibby dies but I’m sure you have other brands that you can use as well.
You will need:
  • 1x 7×7 card blank
  • Dawn Bibby’s layering circle dies
  • Dawn Bibby’s heartfelt messages
  • Dawn Bibby festive flourish die
  • Craft Buddy/Dawn Metal embellishments
  • Selection of Dawn Bibby and Craft Buddy flowers
  • Dawn Bibby flower gems
  • Wet glue
  • Hot glue or silicone glue
  • 3D foam pads
Step 1. Die cut one large circle in silver, the next circle down in satin pink mirri card, the following size in white card and one festive flourish in silver.
Stage 1
Step 2.  Put 3D foam on the back of the white circle to raise it up.
Stage 2
Step 3.  Matt and layer silver, pink and white die cuts onto your card slightly towards the bottom left hand corner of the card so it looks off centre.
 Stage 3
Step 4. Die cut two happy birthdays, one in silver and one in pink.
 Stage 4
Step 5.  Carefully stick the pink on top of the silver happy birthdays moving slightly down and to the side to create a drop shadow effect and stick these on the small white circle.
 Stage 5
Step 6.  Select the flowers and embellishments of your choice and arrange on your card before you stick them.  If you are new you may wish to use silicone glue as it gives you wiggle time.  Stick the flowers down and add your embellishments.

Stage 6
